FAMOUS CLIMATE SKEPTIC, VISCOUNT MONCKTON AND AUCKLAND PROFESSOR
TO DISCUSS GLOBAL WARMING
Aucklanders interested to learn about the pro’s and cons of claims of man-made global warming will have an opportunity this Thursday just over the bridge to hear a fascinating and informative discussion between internationally famous climate skeptic, Viscount Christopher Monckton, and Professor Geoff Austin (Professor of Geophysics, University of Auckland).
Lord Monckton – a hereditary British peer, journalist, businessman and entertaining public speaker - says:
Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth is riddled with inconvenient errors.
Prof Austin will put to Lord Monckton some of the arguments that there
is a human component to warming.
This presentation will be a case study reminder of the duty of professional communicators to be skeptical and investigate the facts behind what they are being asked to communicate.
